Get Ready for SAT

Collegeboard.org has a practice SAT test.  Each of you should take this practice test!  Time it just like they tell you to!  It is fun and a great way to see how well you are going to do!

Marketing

Prom is being planned!  We are raising money and making plans!  Check the dates, Saturday, May 5th.  It will be held at the Double Tree Hotel.  Information will be posted as you (the students) plan them!  Make it happen!

It's been a while!

Just reminding all exit level students that during the holiday's you need to be on the computer researching colleges!  When the first of the year comes, you need to be applying to colleges!  If you need help, contact myself or another teacher! 

Check deadlines!  Don't miss them!  Have a great holiday and work!

There are many FREE SAT tutorials on line.  Look for them, take them, get used to taking a timed test!  Come back and report what you find out!  We want to know!

Business Professioansls Of America (BPA)

Calling all students!  We are now recruiting for members for BPA.  BPA is an organization that will allow you to practice your skills in Job Interview, Public Speaking, Film Making, Computer Skills, presenting a point of view as a Team and much more!  Travel will be to Dallas Texas in March and Chicago in May!  In order to join, you need to see me.  The cost is $16.00 to join.  You pay $8.00 and I match your $8.00.  We will be fundraising to pay for these trips!  Want to learn more about BPA, go to Texasbpa.com.  texasbpa.com.

College Visits

READY FOR COLLEGE TOURS!    There will be sign up sheets for each college visit.  The list will have places for twenty students to sign up.  Twelve students will go on the trip, the other eight will be on stand-by.  Question is:  "Will this cost money?"  The answer:  Yes, there will be cost involved.  On day trips it will be the gas cost.  On overnight trips, it will be gas and hotel.  Please look at the college websites and decide if this is a college you would like to attend.  If that campus has something to offer you, please come with us for a visit!
